New Product to Manage Your Online Reputation
Andy Beal, the marketing pilgrim, has just launched a new product and we wanted to take a minute and tell you about it. We ran into Andy at Webmaster world in Vegas in 2007 and Andy told us all about his work with reputation management. (Check out our interview with Andy in Vegas 2007)
What is online reputation management?
The term basically speaks for itself. It is monitoring your reputation online. By employing reputation management techniques, you can know when someone posts a blog, or comment or form post about you or your business. Notification about new web content is one step in online reputation managment, but you also want to be active in responding to the "stuff" posted online as well as pro-active in filling the web with your materials.
Until now - Google Alerts has been the best way to track your online reputation. Andy's new tool has been called Google Alerts on steriods.
The tool is called Trackur - It is great monitoring system that will allow you to track the web, blogs, social media for your business, keyword phrase or your competition.
The tool also provides great filters so that you can weed out all those unwanted results that Google Alerts often pulls in.
