Reachd Blogging Course in October
We had a great time at the blogging course in Vancouver The training was held in a new fancy location this
week (although I think I prefer the pub). We were at the Telus Executive Boardroom at UBC Robson Square. We
had 8 people gathered around the table including - Kye Grace a Vancouver Realtor, Nancy Mudford, Wendy Bell, Amanda Beisel, Liz Verhoeve, Andrea Foxman, Kate Kulter,
Sheena McCallum. At the conclusion of the course we asked everyone to
consider one thing that they would do to take their blog to the next
level. - How will you take your blog or website to the next level?
If you have a blog think about these 2 important things
1. You need to post to your blog frequently. Once a month or just an occasional post is not going to get people to come back to your blog frequently. Pull out your calendar and schedule some time in your calendar to spend with your blog each day.
2. Submit your blog to social media sites. One way to get your blog out there is to submit your blog to sites like, digg, delicious, stumbleupon and reddit. By putting your stuff here other people browsing the web, will "stumble upon" your blog. If you content is good and entertaining then you can expect those stumblers to come back.
