Great Marketing Tips from the Founder of Provident Security: Michael Jagger
It was a great privilege to be a part of the Vancouver Real Estate Tech Meetup and the Young Professionals Meetup on Vancouver. Michael Jagger from Provident security spoke about some marketing tidbits that he has taken from the last 11 years as he founded the company. He stole a quote from Seth Godin by saying "Marketing is too important to be left to the professionals" Mike's talk centered around the idea of delivering a product that is truly remarkable. -- Good Advice. He also mentioned one important lesson -- "Learning to say NO" Basically the understanding that you can't be all things to all people all the time. Great advice for a small and growing business. Figure out what you do and do it in a remarkable fashion.
The same is true with search engine optimization and your website. Focus on one thing, one become the expert online regarding that one thing. Become the expert and dominate the web for that topic that you choose.
