What does Google Think about You?

Interested in knowing what Google knows about your site?

If so, here's what you can do to quickly test and see what Google knows about your site. Go to www.google.com and type site:www.yourdomainname.com Google will then show you all the pages or files that they have indexed on your site. Here are a few things you should look for...

1. Are all your titles the same? Titles are the blue links that appear on Google. Each page should have a unique title

2. Are all your descriptions are the same? Each page should have a unique description.

3. On the bottom of the page look for the comment that says..."Displaying results 1-10 repeated results are ommitted." This is one indicator that Google thinks your content might look the same.

If you want to know more about what Google wants to know about your site, then take some time and setup your Free Google webmaster tools at http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools
