Yesterday I wrot a blog post about Google's site: operator. If you remember this is where you go to www.google.com and type in site:www.yourwebsite.com and Google will tell you how many pages or files they have indexed for your site.
Here is another operator that Google has which you can use to find out how you are doing...
It is called "all in title" Go to www.google.com and type in allintitle: your keyword phrase
The result will be the ranking of websites based only on their title. Remember your title is one of the SEO elements that Google looks at. If you are in the top ten for allintitle: then you are on the right track. If you are not on page one when you do the allintitle: search you need to do some work on your titles.
