March 31st, 2008
If you were following along last week you noticed that we looked a bit at some of the Google operators. sit: and allintitle: Today I'll introduce you to another operator - "all in text" You can use this operator by going to www.google.com and typing in allintext: followed by your keyword phrase. What will result is a ranking of sites just based on the text they have on their website.

We are teaching adwords to real estate agents in seattle soon, so we'll use the keyword phrase, "seattle real estate" for our example.

1. Go to Google.com

2. In the search bar type: allintext: seattle real estate.

3.

March 25th, 2008

The Purpose of Your Website Copy

March 19th, 2008
Here is a brief SEO tip that came up in our last training.

What is the purpose of your website copy?

It is really simple if you stop and think about it. The purpose of the headline is to get your visitor to read the first paragraph and the purpose of the first paragraph is to get them to read the second paragraph.

Obiviously you need to have that critical call to action sprinkled throughout the page but also give you visitor a reason to keep reading and keep them engaged on your site.

If you have questions or comments about this post... please email me.

Thanks

Rodney Bartlett -- Reachd.
