"Do I need Meta Data?" - Question from our SEO Bootcamp

May 22nd, 2008
One of our students in the bootcamp just asked a great question yesterday.

Do I need "Meta Data"? He is referring to the meta description and meta keywords on his site. Those are the hidden items that only show in the code of your website and users do not see. He was told that the meta data is useless.

While he is right, most search engines do not care much about your meta data, especially the meta keywords, you should still use both meta description and meta keywords on all your pages. Your pages should have unique meta description and meta keywords.

Why? Two reasons. 1. The search  engines change. Even though

Christmas in May at Reachd Video Training

May 14th, 2008
Get 20 Enterpenuers and Business owners in a room, throw in a few high tech super sleek Flip Video Cameras and what is the result?

It was sort of like Christmas in May our recent 3 Hour Video Training. After we passed out the cameras, I'm not sure anyone was paying attention to the teaching, they were just playing with their new toys. Well I guess you can't really blame them, the cameras are pretty cool. Below is a quick video we shot of all the attendees opening up and trying out their cameras for the first time.

Using Online Video Works - Really!

May 8th, 2008
I received an exciting phone call earlier this week. A marketer from Los Angeles California phoned my on my cell to express interest in an upcoming Adwords Workshop. The person on the call works with several clients and a team managing their pay per click advertising. He was looking for more training for himslef and for his team. As I was talking with him, the big question on my mind was... "How did you find us?"

His response. I "googled" "adwords workshop" and your Video on Youtube was one of the top 10 results.

Here is a snapshot of what the caller saw!
